A-B boys’ booter squad stymied by Algonquin, 3-1

October 21, Leary Field: For the second straight match, Acton-Boxborough’s boys’ soccer team scored first, with a Tyler Sullivan tally at 8:10 of the first half. But Algonquin evened the score at 22:41, and got the eventual deciding goal later in the half. The Titans added an empty-netter in the second half after the Revs goaltender, Matty Smalarz, was switched to a 12th attacker.

On October 22, the Revs dropped to 5-6-4, with a loss to Cambridge Rindge and Latin, and on the 24th, closed out their regular season with a meeting at Lincoln-Sudbury.
