Acton Exchange “Correspondents” are active and knowledgeable members of non-governmental community organizations, who write about the programs and events of their organization. Their membership and leadership role in the organization is disclosed in the author ID at the end of their Acton Exchange articles. Content published in the Acton Exchange may be “re-published from” or “adapted from” communications originally disseminated by the correspondent’s organization, in accordance with the policies of the Acton Exchange and the correspondent’s organization.

Acton Exchange “Beat Reporters” commit to providing ongoing coverage of a specific aspect of Acton, for example, a municipal Board, Committee or Commission. As required by the AE Editorial Policies, a member of a municipal Board, Committee or Commission cannot write or edit on the deliberations or decisions of the body on which they sit.

If you are potentially interested in becoming a Correspondent for an organization in which you are active, or a Beat Reporter for a Board/Committee/Commission that is not yet included on the list above, please email info@actonexchange.org
