In the April 30 Override vote, half the Town voters were either unable or unwilling to pay the tax override which passed by 37 votes. This was after an all-stops-out campaign for the Override and sparse campaigning against the Override. Grave attention needs to be paid as to whether Acton citizens cannot or do not want to support a “world class education” for students at their expense.
