Join us as we celebrate the unveiling of a new community mural at the historic Maynard Fine Arts Theatre. Created through the participation of local students, seniors, group homes, and community organizations, the project reflects the creativity, collaboration, and spirit of Maynard. The Maynard Fine Arts Theatre will host a grand reveal of the completed mural on June 23rd at 6PM, coinciding with the premiere of the short film “Still Showing: Maynard Fine Arts Theatre 1949-Today.”

Genderqueer inclusion consultant, Ali Kane (she/they) will share queer stories from the 1600s to the 1960s. From these accounts, you will gain a glimpse into queer lives throughout history, as well as explore how these truths were uncovered and strategies for preserving queer history today. Sign up here!
