  • Acton Earth Week: Build a Birdhouse for Teens

    Help us usher in the Spring by building birdhouses for the town. Birdhouses built during this event will be painted the following week and then installed in areas around the library in order to provide homes for native songbirds. Earn volunteer hours for the event! Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request.   • Bike Share Launch Event

    Please join Acton and nearby towns (Concord, Maynard, and Lincoln) for the launch of this summer's Minuteman Bike Share. Try out the new bikes for free, enter giveaways, and meet local businesses and organizations along the trails! The Minuteman Regional Bike Share offers a low-cost option for accessible recreation along local rail trails, alternative transportation to MBTA commuter stations, and a fun activity for locals and visitors looking to explore the area on wheels!  

  • Energy Eco-Night with Acton Sustainability

    Energy Eco-Night is a celebration of Acton’s efforts to make energy efficiency accessible to all residents— regardless of renter status, income, or housing type. Our goal is to share local and regional energy-efficiency and cost-saving resources with the public, while also giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and connect directly with representatives from the Sustainability Office, Mass Save, Energize Acton, and more!
