Join the Acton Minutemen as they recreate the march to Concord over the trail that Issac Davis and his men traveled that fateful day, now identified by stone markers labeled “Line of March, April 19, 1775.” The march will begin at the Issac Davis homestead at 39 Hayward Road and end at the North Bridge in Concord.

The Acton Historical Society invites you to tour the 1760 Jonathon Hosmer House and to view a collection of artifacts associated with Acton’s history. Also on the property is an 1830’s barn with an exhibit of agricultural tools, including an early fire pump (fire engine), a horse-drawn sleigh and a farm wagon. Admission is free with donations accepted. Parking is available on the premises.
The Stow Minutemen Company is pleased to announce its annual Trail March to Concord, commemorating the opening of the American Revolutionary War. Before dawn breaks and while most are still asleep, the Company will step off into history. Starting point: Citizen's Bank parking lot in Stow. A Special District Meeting has been called to ask voters to approve an operating budget for Fiscal Year 2027, which begins on July 1, 2026. Without an approved budget, the District cannot legally incur expenses to operate the system. The warrant is available here. The budget for consideration will be posted after the Board of Commissioners meeting on April 13, 2026.

The Big Band era officially started in the summer of 1935, but the transition from hot jazz and Dixieland had begun much earlier in the decade. We’ll trace the roots of Big Band music, including the back story of the King of Swing himself, Benny Goodman. THE COLLECTIVE is an immersive fiber-art installation created by Stacey Piwinski in collaboration with her students and local arts community. The work incorporates contributions from her elementary school students in Wayland, Massachusetts, her college students at Tufts University, and fellow artists within her broader community. Especially in our current times, Piwinski emphasizes the importance of creating artworks that embody healing, foster a sense of safety, and bring people together through shared creative experience.
