Silver Unicorn: ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) Sale to benefit the Acton Food Pantry

Silver Unicorn Bookstore 12 Spruce Street, Acton, MA

Each year, publishers send us Advanced Review Copies, or ARCs, of books that are yet to be published, so that we can read them ahead of time. After the book is published, they become obsolete. We don't want to throw them away, because that would be wasteful, but they take up a lot of room, so we have to get rid of them somehow, and also, we are not allowed to profit from the sale of them. Our solution -- the ARC Sale! ALL proceeds go to the Acton Food Pantry. This is what we call a WIN, WIN, WIN.
