The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. The social action group Na’aseh (We will Act) of Congregation Beth Elohim, is proud to host State Rep. Simon Cataldo.  Rep. Cataldo will speak about the findings and report of the Special Commission Combatting Anti-Semitism. Rep. Cataldo co-chaired this commission formed in 2024. In 2023, Professor Bob Allison inaugurated the Acton 250 Lectures Series with an account of the Boston Tea Party of 1773 and the pivotal events that sparked the American Revolution.
