The Town of Acton is studying Parker Street (between High Street and the MBTA Tracks) to better understand safety concerns and opportunities to improve conditions for people who drive, walk, and bike. We’re hosting an open house where community members can: Review existing conditions on Parker Street Share concerns about speeding and safety Talk about walking and biking needs Explore potential improvement ideas Ask questions and provide feedback How can the town improve the area around Parker Street? The world is fascinated by the recent jewel robbery at the Louvre, and so are the Curators of Crime, mystery authors Connie Berry, Lane Stone, Nina Wachsman, and M. A. Monnin. In this presentation, the Curators of Crime will examine the public’s fascination with the recent burglary of Napoleonic jewels at the Louvre and discuss how as authors they have used the same elements in their books.
