The Concord Library has been working with Bike-to-School Concord, Mothers Out Front, and others to encourage folks to choose walking or biking whenever they can. It’s good for the planet and for our kids. However, we know that some people don’t feel safe biking or walking in certain areas of Concord.  Mothers Out Front has invited Dr. Peter Furth, Professor of Civil Engineering at Northeastern University and an expert on pedestrian and cycling safety, to speak about possible solutions to these issues. He gave up a Saturday afternoon to bike around Concord and look at trouble spots with a group
