Acton 250: Acton Center Walking Tour

Professional tour leader Amy Cole grew up near Acton Center and has a wide ranging-interest in Acton’s unique history. Walking Acton’s historic civic center, you will learn about the people, places and practices that shaped the town’s history and our nation’s as well.  Topics include Native American history, the role of the church, the importance of Captain Isaac Davis and the Acton Minutemen, nearby historic buildings, memorials and more. Fruitlands Museum: 13th Annual Craft Festival

Fruitlands Museum 102 Prospect Hill Road, Harvard

57 New England Artisans show juried craft under festival tents on the fields at Fruitlands Museum overlooking the Nashoba Valley and the New Hampshire mountains. Food is available from the Cafe and food trucks. Rain or Shine. Library: Flower Bookmarks @ West

West Acton Citizens' Library 21 Windsor Avenue, Acton

Join us at the library for a relaxing and creative crafting session! We’ll be making beautiful flower bookmarks using glue, pressed flowers, and other natural elements. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any small items you'd like to include—just keep in mind that the bookmarks are small, so tiny additions work best. Whether you're an experienced crafter or just looking to try something new, this is a great way to unwind and make something lovely to take home!
