The local Wag’N’Wash franchise will close its doors on May 31. Open for over three years, the store offered pet foods and grooming services for dogs. The building at 444 Great Road has housed pet stores for over thirty years, with Loyal Companion occupying the space before Wag’N’Wash. There are two other Wag’N’Washes in Massachusetts, one in Beverly and one in nearby Concord. The company was founded in 1987 and the corporate offices are in Colorado Springs.

TJMaxx is remodeling space at The Point, a shopping mall in Littleton, and will move there later this year. When the Littleton store opens, the Acton store will close. While researching for this brief it was discovered that Barnes and Noble has also secured a building permit for space at The Point.
