Acton Conservation Trust's annual joint Mushroom Forage event with Boston Mycological Club! The Boston Mycological Club is the oldest amateur mycology club in the USA, founded in 1895. Our walk will will take us through the Will’s Hole and Town Forest conservation area in North Acton. We will not be eating any of our foraged finds, just identifying them with the help of BMC’s fungi experts. All ages are welcome but no pets (except service animals) are allowed. Additionally, we invite special guests to speak about this event and present awards to some of the best businesses at the 8th Annual Acton Children's Business Fair.

Energy Eco-Night is a celebration of Acton’s efforts to make energy efficiency accessible to all residents— regardless of renter status, income, or housing type. Our goal is to share local and regional energy-efficiency and cost-saving resources with the public, while also giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and connect directly with representatives from the Sustainability Office, Mass Save, Energize Acton, and more! There will be free pizza, raffle prizes, speakers, and a free wildlife presentation for kids and families from 5-7PM. Please RSVP here so we can make sure there's enough pizza!

Acton Kicks Country with country music phenom Houston Bernard!  Be sure to wear your cowboy hats, boots, jeans and tees for a fun night at the Park!  Great BBQ, Beer and Wine will be available for purchase. Come at 7 p.m. for a free hour on how to line dance with professional dance instructor.

The Acton Commission on Disabilities will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act at the NARA Park lower pavilion (wheelchair accessible). The park is wheelchair accessible, and we will be there rain or shine. Sandwiches and seltzers provided. All are welcome. Acton residents can reserve a free, accessible ride there and back.
