Litter pickup at Boardwalk Campus: register here Acton residents, businesses, town staff, and organizations work together to support a spring-time clean-up — a time for everyone to help pick up trash and recyclables in public areas around town.

This Earth Day join us for a tour of Acton’s award-winning Gates and Douglas School, known as the Boardwalk Campus. Drawing on geothermal power (ground source heat pumps) and utilizing other special technologies, this school has blown past all its energy-saving predictions. The Acton-Boxborough Family Network (ABFN) invites you and your littles to join them for their annual Spring Fling and Egg Hunt. Non-members are welcome ($10 per family). Registration is required. For more information, or to join ABFN, see  ABFN Spring Fling and Egg Hunt.

Join the AB Varsity softball team and coaches for a softball clinic at the Boardwalk School gym. K - 3rd grade - 9 - 10 am 4th - 7th grade - 10 -11 am Register your player here: Acton Boxboro Softball Youth Clinic Registration 2026 Bring any softball equipment that you have (gloves, bats, helmet, etc.) Youth coaches and parents are welcome and encouraged to stay and learn about some of the drills the Varsity team participates in. The Acton-Boxborough Community Band will present a free concert entitled "All the World's a Stage..." on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 7pm at the Boardwalk Campus auditorium in Acton, MA. The concert features music from musical theater including "West Side Story," "Rent" and "Hamilton."  There will even be opera selections and a rousing march rendition of "Another Op'nin' Another Show."
