Medicare Savings Program Enrollment Workshop

Join Minuteman Senior Services SHINE for a Medicare Savings Program (MSP) workshop on Tuesday, May 20th from 2:00-3:00pm. This workshop will be held at the Acton Senior Center. An MSP can help you save $185 monthly in Medicare Part B costs and in some cases, pay for your annual deductibles, co-payments and medication costs. If you are single and earn $2935 or a couple earning up to $3966 monthly, you qualify for the MSP program and can receive enrollment assistance at this workshop plus other cost savings advice from a state certified Medicare benefits counselor. CarFit is designed to give a quick but comprehensive check on how well an older driver and their vehicle work together with a focus on comfort, safety, and mobility. This Council on Aging (COA) program blends live performance, storytelling and visuals about the origins of blues, rock and country music presented by singer and songwriter Jon Waterman. In the show, Jon is joined by Li Waterman on bass. Fascinating characters and events that are part of the history and the role of music in our lives will be explored. Jon and Li’s programs are enthusiastically received in Acton.
