    Looking for a family-friendly fun way to spend Labor Day weekend? Come to Stow on Saturday, August 30 (12–4 PM) for the 4th Annual Assabet Craft Beer & Food Truck Festival! Enjoy craft beer from five local brewers, eats from six food trucks, and live music from Sugar High. Kids will love the Carnival Games area—playground, face painting, and 25+ games to keep them busy all afternoon. General admission is $10 donation per person; kids 12 and under are free. Beer/hard cider drink tickets are $6. Rain or shine, we’ll be at 353 Great Road, Stow, MA, at First Parish

    Kathleen Parks is a fiddler, singer, and songwriter who brings joyful and creative energy to the stage and studio. Her deep grounding in Celtic and American roots music blends with her love for pop songwriting, funk rhythms, soulful vocals, and groove-based improvisation, making every performance unexpected yet familiar: a musical journey from beginning to end.     Come for an afternoon of indoor carnival fun for the whole family! (Snow date Sun, March 1)! First Parish Church of Stow & Acton is hosting a lively, all-ages carnival filled with games, face painting, prizes, and treats—all in a warm, welcoming indoor space. Free admission! Carnival game tickets are $1 each, and each game costs just 1 ticket to play. With over three dozen carnival games, there’s something for everyone. Try our life-size Whack-a-Mole, Plinko, Pop Bottle Stand-Up, Life-Size Tetris, and an “impossible” giant sliding puzzle. Many of the games are handcrafted creations built by FPC members and youth.
