Acton Minutemen

The Acton Minutemen are holding their annual Isaac Davis March on Friday April 18, 2025 at 6:30 am, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution. Parking for the Isaac Davis Trail March by visitors, guests, and member overflow is at the Acton Boxborough High School across the street from Haartz Fabric on Hayward Rd, Acton. The march starts at the Isaac Davis house and ends at the Old North Bridge in Concord at about 9am. Buses will be available to return to Acton.

Here is the schedule of the stops the rider makes: 5 pm at the Robbins’ Homesite – soccer fields at bottom of Concord Rd. 5:20 at the Isaac Davis Homestead – 39 Hayward Road 5:40 at the Faulkner Homestead – 5 High St. in So. Join the Acton Minutemen as they recreate the march to Concord over the trail that Issac Davis and his men traveled that fateful day, now identified by stone markers labeled “Line of March, April 19, 1775.” The march will begin at the Issac Davis homestead at 39 Hayward Road and end at the North Bridge in Concord.

The Acton Minutemen will split into two groups to commemorate our heroes of military service with a ceremonial volley and wreath laying at the following locations prior to the Acton Memorial Day ceremony: 8:30 am - Forest Cemetery (10 North Street) and Mount Hope Cemetery (160 - 174 Central Street) 9:00 am - Quimby Square ( corner of Main and School Streets) and Edwards Square (corner of Central Street and Mass.
