Acton COA Presents a History of the Music of the Beatles and Beyond

Join music historian John Clark for a discussion of the Beatles and how their music affected other bands in the 1960’s and ’70’s.

Clark will discuss how, by guiding the group into experimental songs using orchestration, electronics, and exotic instrumentation, Beatles producer George Martin, helped change rock music. The Beatles opened the door for other bands to include Eastern and classical elements.
