The Social Justice Committee of Acton Congregational Church invites you to join us January 28th from 7:00 to 9:00 for an engaging and thought-provoking evening with economist and author Jeff Fuhrer whose book “The Myth that Made Us” explores how powerful, but false narratives have shaped—and harmed— this nation. Narratives such as the “self-made man” have denied opportunity to millions and limited human potential in ways that impact our economic future.
Jeff will discus how equal access to opportunity—universal pathways that build human and financial capital—can dramatically improve lives and strengthen the economy for everyone. He will also outline concrete changes needed to help the nation reach its full economic potential.
All are welcome for this timely conversation at the intersection of faith, justice, and economic opportunity.
