Come join the Dawn Gomez and the Council on Aging as we take the next leg of our exploration of famous US landmarks! Each of these iconic places help shape our national identity. Be it the natural beauty of Carlsbad Caverns, the historical significance of Ford’s Theater or the reach for the unknown from Cape Canaveral, we will weave together how the geography, architecture and human stories of each have contributed to making it a popular tourist destination. As before, we’ll start with some clues to guess our destination and encourage participants to share their memories as well. Dawn Gomez, Reminiscing Round Table founder, provides topic-based programs for seniors at assisted living and senior center communities.
