AB STEAM Student Hackathon: Flood solutions

Calling all students (grades 7 – 12) and residents interested in acting locally to help reduce the local impacts of flooding.

The issue: How can we reduce flooding and the impacts of flooding in Acton in a way that is economical, sustainable, and socially and environmentally friendly?

Are you a problem solver? Interested in environmental science and sustainability? Join a team or create your own team to develop strategies to reduce flooding and earn community service hours in the process.

The first step for this event is a tour of Acton’s flood prone areas (exact location provided after you register).
