The Acton Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with MetroWest Legal Services, will host a monthly housing legal clinic beginning in January. Housing Legal Clinic appointments will begin on Jan. 14 and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4-6 p.m. at the Human Service and Senior Center, 30 Sudbury Road Rear. Before you attend a session, you must complete the following registration form, which can be found here. The program, which is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, will run until Dec. 31, 2026.

Energy Eco-Night is a celebration of Acton’s efforts to make energy efficiency accessible to all residents— regardless of renter status, income, or housing type. Our goal is to share local and regional energy-efficiency and cost-saving resources with the public, while also giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and connect directly with representatives from the Sustainability Office, Mass Save, Energize Acton, and more! The FreeBee Network and Market was formed in the wake of the pandemic, and a large local apartment fire. These experiences emphasized the importance of a central, volunteer-driven team to connect neighbors to share access to food, resources, and services.
