Iron Work Farm: Patriot’s Day at Faulkner Homestead
The Iron Work Farm's annual celebration of the role the Faulkner family played in the events of the first day of the American Revolution. Acton's West Militia gathered here on the lawn before marching to Concord, and their families cooked the dinners to be taken on horseback to the men in the field. Shortly after 5 pm, the Acton Minutemen will reenact the arrival of the horse and rider bringing the alarm to Col. Faulkner. Faulkner House, 5 High Street; parking available in nearby public lots.
