The Town of Acton’s Department of Veteran Services and the Celebrations and Ceremonies Committee invite all community members to join in honoring our nation’s Veterans at this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony. The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting, at the Isaac Davis Monument on the Town Common. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Faulkner Room (Room 204) at Town Hall. Attendees are encouraged to park behind Town Hall or the Fire Station.

While Sarah Boyer worked as oral historian at the Cambridge Historical Commission, she was invited to interview past members of the Boston Daughters of Bilitis, a chapter of the earliest known lesbian organization in the US.
