Discovery Museum invites high school students excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics to a free event to learn more about STEM careers. Entrepreneurs, academics, and professionals from companies including SolidWorks, Draper Labs, Eversource, Analog Devices, and more will be on hand to meet students and provide insight into their career paths and advice. Students can: Meet engineers, technologists, and educators from technology industries who have built companies, products, and teams based on their skills in science, mathematics, and engineering. Engage in discussions about different STEM majors, research opportunities, and extracurricular activities that can enhance the college experience. Gain insight

Town of Acton Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies The parade leaves the Spruce Street side of the Boardwalk Campus at 10:00 am sharp and proceeds along following route: Spruce Street to Mass Ave. to Windsor Ave. into Mt. Hope Cemetery. Main Ceremony at 10:45 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Parade continues up to West Acton Common where an abbreviated ceremony is held before parade dismissal. We hope you can join us in this wonderful ceremony to honor our nation’s heroes. *In the event of inclement weather there will be no rain date* For all youth groups who wish to participate,
Knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, and sewers, join the library to work on your project and socialize! We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
Join the School Days Off at Danny's Place! Kids in grades K–5 can attend from 9 AM–12 PM and enjoy a day of themed activities, games, and creative fun. Whether the day’s focus is tied to a holiday or simply a special seasonal activity, it’s always a great time to connect, learn, and play. School Days Off are offered individually (or as a membership). $75.00 per kid per session.
