Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. Take a guided tour of the facility, meet officers, our department clinician, dispatchers, members of the Acton Fire Department, and more. Plus, don’t miss the Touch-a-Truck experience, featuring police cruisers, fire trucks, highway department vehicles, and other exciting equipment for kids (and adults) to check out up close.

Join us on August 5th from 6–7 PM as we wrap up our Summer Reading Carnival with an unforgettable performance by The Rule of Two—our third and final band in the Summer Concert Series! About the band:  The Rule of Two is made up of a married couple who met while attending Berklee College of Music. Over the past 10 years, Emily Desmond and Aaron Wheeler have performed at various events and venues all over New England, including Boston's famous Hatch Shell. Together, they make their living as full-time musicians - composing, producing, and teaching music in addition to performing.
