AB boys tennis playoffs: Revs down Andover, 4-1, advance

On June 3, in a match at ABRHS that featured a marathon contest in Second Doubles, the AB boys tennis team earned a first-round playoff victory over the Andover Warriors. In that match, the Revs’ Sashwat Ganeshwaran and Vamsi Gollapudi defeated Andover’s Aaryan Deshwal and Ricky Tran.

In First Doubles, Andrew Lu and Jonathan Nguyen lost a close match to the Warriors’ Matt Wang and Ryan Furlong.

In the home team’s sweep of the singles matches, it was Marti Sarquella over Nick Narina (1st singles match); Risha Darari defeating Kian Heghan (2nd); and Siddhant Ganeshwaran edging out Sam Gomer (3rd).

In the second round on June 5, the Revs defeated Winchester 4-1, and, on June 9, they lost to Lexington in the third round, 3-1, finishing their season at 14-2.
