April 28, Acton-Boxborough Regional High School: AB pitchers Evan Koh and Levi Straayer combined to hold the Wayland Warriors hitless for the first 4 2/3 innings, but in the end were jinxed by walks and errors, with the result a 7-5 win for the visitors.

The Revs erased a three-run deficit in the fifth inning after benefiting from two walks, two stolen bases, and two errors, setting the stage for Jackson Healy’s two-out double (his second of the day), which drove in two.

In the seventh, Wayland collected only their second hit of the day, but took advantage of a walk, stolen base, and two more errors to post a 7-5 lead. The Revs made a strong bid to tie the game in their last call, but were retired in order, despite two deep drives to the outfield.

Joining Healy in the two-hits club were Evan Koh, Jonathan Schick, and Matthew Bromberg. With the win, Wayland improves to 4-4. AB, now 4-6, played Weston on May 1, and will host Boston Latin on May 5.
