Participants will be asked to complete brief surveys during the series to help us understand what is most helpful and how we can continue improving the program. As a thank you\, you will receive a $20 grocery gift card after completing the final survey. Please only sign up if you plan to attend all five sessions. DESCRIPTION:The Acton Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services\, in partnership with MetroWest Legal Services\, will host a monthly housing legal clinic beginning in January.  \nHousing Legal Clinic appointments will begin on Jan. 14 and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4-6 p.m. at the Human Service and Senior Center\, 30 Sudbury Road Rear. \nBefore you attend a session\, you must complete the following registration form\, which can be found here. \nThe program\, which is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act\, will run until Dec. 31\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Open to out-of-towners age 60+ starting April 6th for $20/series \nLangston Hughes (1901-1967) was a Harlem poet\, playwright\, novelist and short story writer. He was a leading member of The Harlem Renaissance and was greatly influenced by the poetry of Walt Whitman. His poems continually ask the question: What does it mean to be an American? We will study many of his iconic poems and read three of his short stories.
