Join us for Melodies for Medicine, a special event featuring talented young musicians (ages 10–16) who will bring the joy of live music to our Senior Center! Enjoy performances by a range of instruments including vocalists along with meaningful conversations and a shared love of music—all in a warm, relaxed setting. Join the School Days Off at Danny's Place! Kids in grades K–5 can attend from 9 AM–12 PM and enjoy a day of themed activities, games, and creative fun. Whether the day’s focus is tied to a holiday or simply a special seasonal activity, it’s always a great time to connect, learn, and play. School Days Off are offered individually (or as a membership). $75.00 per kid per session.

ABRHS Track and Field athletes present a youth track and field event for kids in grades 2 -6. Warm-up with practicing events and then take part in a fun track meet! Beginning on May 27: Join us for a five-week group designed to help you build practical tools for wellbeing while connecting with others. Each week, you’ll learn science-backed mental health skills in a supportive setting, including mindful awareness, stress management, and ideas for finding meaning and fulfillment in everyday life. The series is led by Jenn Staples, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and Founder of guts, a nonprofit dedicated to making evidence-based mental health tools accessible to the community. Participants will be asked to complete brief surveys during the series to help us understand what is most helpful and how we can continue improving

Your instructor, Cathy Fochtman, has been teaching Acton Recreation classes since 2000 and loves sharing hands-on plant projects with participants. She is a member of the Acton Garden Club, a Massachusetts Master Gardener (MMGA, Inc.), holds a certificate in Horticultural Therapy from the Horticulture Therapy Institute, and is an accredited Flower Show Judge with National Garden Clubs, Inc.
