Bruce Freeman Adaptive Rail Trail ride, Sudbury

The Sudbury Commission on Disability invites residents of Acton and surrounding communities to experience the joy of cycling along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail at a free adaptive cycling event. Hosted in partnership with the Sudbury Rail Trails Advisory Committee and All Out Adventures, one-hour riding sessions will be offered between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Broadacres Farm in Sudbury. Participants of all ages and abilities can choose from a variety of adaptive cycles, including recumbent trikes, handcycles, and tandem bikes, with trained staff on-site to provide support in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The West Acton Baptist Church is offering another chance to Ring their Historic Bell! On Saturday, June 6th 12-3pm the doors will be open for a $5/Bag Pop-Up Thrift & Bell Ringing as a fundraiser for the Historic Steeple Project set to begin this month. This 1854 Bronze Bell was cast by Henry Hooper in a forge once owned by Paul Revere.
