Acton Minutemen: Memorial Day Volleys

Isaac Davis Monument Across from Town Hall, Acton

The Acton Minutemen will split into two groups to commemorate our heroes of military service with a ceremonial volley and wreath laying at the following locations prior to the Acton Memorial Day ceremony: 8:30 am - Forest Cemetery (10 North Street) and Mount Hope Cemetery (160 - 174 Central Street) 9:00 am - Quimby Square ( corner of Main and School Streets) and Edwards Square (corner of Central Street and Mass. Ave.) 9:30 am - Woodlawn Cemetery (Concord Road) and the  Isaac Davis Monument (Main Street across from Town Hall) Details at actonminutemen.org. Following the volleys, a ceremony will be

Canceled Memorial Day Parade

Spruce Street, Acton Spruce Street, Acton

Town of Acton Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies The parade leaves the Spruce Street side of the Boardwalk Campus at 10:00 am sharp and proceeds along following route: Spruce Street to Mass Ave. to Windsor Ave. into Mt. Hope Cemetery. Main Ceremony at 10:45 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Parade continues up to West Acton Common where an  abbreviated ceremony is held before parade dismissal. Memorial Day Ceremony (indoors)

Acton Town Hall, Room 204 472 Main Street, Acton, MA

Due to Monday’s forecast the Parade has been canceled. We are moving our ceremony indoors to the Faulkner Room at Town Hall which will begin at 11am.  Parking is available behind Town Hall and all are welcome to attend.
