DESCRIPTION:Join local archaeologist Kimberley Connors and Town of Acton\nConservation Staff Ian Bergemann on a guided walk along the\nAssabet River Blue & Green Trail focusing on why people have\nlived here for over 7\,000 years and the wildlife that call this place\nhome. This path is adjacent to the Pink Hawk site which is the\noldest known archeological site in Acton. \nThe trail is 1.0 mile long out-and-back starting from Old High\nStreet navigating marsh habitat\, streams\, and forests. The trail\nwill be muddy and slippery so please be prepared with proper\nfootwear and additional hiking tools like trekking poles. \nThere is a limit of 20 people\, all ages are\nwelcome but the path is not stroller friendly. \nRegistration required at https://tinyurl.com/pinehawk-may9.
