Long anticipated, TJ Maxx moves to Littleton
TJ Maxx and HomeGoods in Acton Plaza has finally closed its doors and moved up the road to The Point in Littleton.
Chico’s moves out, Warby Parker moves in
Chico’s at Brookside Shops (near Trader Joe’s) has closed. Warby Parker is getting ready to open at that location.
Acton Convenience scheduled for demolition, Acton fire department gets first whack
The building that recently housed Acton Convenience will be torn down soon, as reported in the June 20, 2026 Business Briefs. As part of the demolition, owner Leo Bertolami has generously offered the building to Acton’s fire department for training purposes. None of the training will involve active fires.
Velvet Vine Cafe closes

Mathnasium moves to Concord
Mathnasium Learning Centers, the K-12 personalized math learning center, is relocating from its Acton location to 197 Sudbury Rd in Concord.
The Sept. 12 grand opening is free and open to the community, featuring center tours, interactive math games, pizza and Kona ice, music, giveaways, and a Nintendo Switch 2 raffle. Center Director Brooke Powell says the move brings a more accessible location and an enhanced learning environment.
